I don't know how bodhi handles this, some people use to run network manager at
login, maybe running gnome-settings-daemon before e17.
e17 doesn't have a module for NM, there is a module for connman which I found
much better than NM. you'll have to install the connmand package from the
ubuntu repo and load the e17 connman module to interact with it.
