the composite settings are there if the composite module is loaded if it is not you have no compositor running and you dont get settings for it. do you have the composite settings dialog available at all? is the composite module loaded (check modules config dialog). if you do have these but the engine tab in the composite settings only offers software, then evas and/or ecore-evas were built without gl engine support (or the gl engine module was split off into a separate package and not installed even though compile time had everything there). as for your version - where did you get it from? 0.16.999.0 - the .0 at the end implies that this wasnt built from an svn checkout and therefore we cant help you with the "same version" issue - ask the person who compiled what you have as they have lost information along the way. e17 and efl's build exctracts the svn revision number from the local svn tree and adds it to the end as an extra sub-micro version. as you have 0 - that means it couldnt do this so either it wasnt an svn tree it was built from, or it's missing tools (like svnrevision). > Thanks a lot. I cannot find such settings. > Is it caused by the version? I used the code in svn " svn co > http://svn.enlightenment.org/svn/e" After I rebuild the source code and check > Enlightment/About, and find that the version is 0.16.999.0.
