With the shelf set to 'Allow windows to overlap the shelf' Gkrellm stays put
at the bottom right of the desktop as I want it and is not pushed up by the
shelf when redrawn. The problem arises when I set the shelf to 'Above
Everything', because as I said I don't want to have to fish for the shelf
amidst umpteen windows by closing everything down one at a time.
I'm not sure I understand how your Gkrellm stays put with an 'Above
Everything' shelf setting and mine doesn't ...
I'm running revision 63587 installed this morning.
