settings -> input -> keyboard. go there. add a new keyboard layout you want to
use. you can add multiple and then switch between them on the fly. the
xkbswitch gadget gives u a little flag in the shelf (or wherever u place the
gadget) that displays the current layout and gives u a click+menu to select a
layout as well.

you';ll find that in the above settings dialog. delete/add kbd layouts as
desired. you can do the whole kit and kaboodle too - ie select capslock on/off
or make caps == multi key etc. etc. etc.
