And it used to work with the defaults. But it works now with the step size set to 10, and seems to be interpreting that as a percentage. It's not the actual brightness increment, either... /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/max_brightness has a value of 4882, so an increment of 10 there wouldn't be noticeable. > is there a desktop to switch to? are you on the top-left desk opf all the > virtual-desktops array? I can be on that same lower right desktop and move to any of the other corners to get to the top left desktop.
