yup, still do. we have RJ21 DFE's in one of our N7's.

RJ21 to my knowledge is only rated at 10/100, no support for gig.

Didn't Enterasys/Cabletron used to offer blades with Telco style connectors so
that the ports weren't actually on the chassis, but remote patch panels making
cabling much easier? Maybe on the old SS6000's?

Subject: Re: [enterasys] Enterasys N-series 72 port blade

Hi Richard,

There is no easy solution. With a N7 orientation being vertical and a N3
orientation being horizontal we decided to use the side channels on the
vertical cable manager to feed copper cables. Fiber is fed from the top. This
setup allows access to fan trays and power supplies.

All,
Does anyone have any pictures of the 72 port blade for the N-series chassis
fully cabled?
We are interested in the blade, but are having difficulty justifying the
purchase of such a blade because it seems that cabling the blade could be a
problem.
Thanks,
Richard
