Barron -

We are currently running VoIP on our network; we recently upgraded to
new Avaya back-end hardware. Using VoIP phones are still fairly new, but
I have it out in production currently and will eventually replace all of
our old infrastructure with VoIP phones.

Our info:
- 45 Enterasys switches, consisting of G3's, E series, S series, and a
couple of N series.
- 30 Avaya 9600 series phones in production with another 100-150 being
deployed over the next several months.
- 20 1600 series phone at a remote location
- We have been running VoIP at one remote location for about a year and
at the main campus for a couple of months.
- I have not noticed any issues with interoperability
- My contact info is listed below if you would like to chat directly.

Subject: [enterasys] ...any Enterasys customers running VoIP?

We are looking at converting from our traditional PBX, a Nortel CS1000
system, to a voice over IP solution. If you are running a VoIP solution

over an Enterasys layer-2 network, I would be interested in the
following:

1) Which VoIP vendor are you using?
2) How many Enterasys switches do you have?
3) How many VoIP phones do you have?
4) How long have you been running VoIP?
5) Have there been any major interoperability issues?
6) Could I contact you directly to follow-up if I have more questions?

Thanks in advance,

Barron
