MAC and 802.1X authenticated systems. Not switch management logins.

Kind regards,

   Thank you all !
One more question, then: Does "authentications" mean MAC authentications
or user authentications?

I just had that question answered for me by GTAC…..

They tell me it’s the number of authentications seen by the NAC in a 24
hour period from midnight to midnight…

On the "Configuration" tab of our NAC appliances, there is a field called
"End-System Capacity" which displays a something like "2500/3000 (83%)". I
know the second number (3000) is the number of licenses we have for this
device.

What does the 2500 number represent? I had thought it meant "active"
(simultaneous) connections, but in our case, that number is far greater
than the number of DHCP addresses available to clients that use the NAC.
Can someone shed some light on this for us?
