Hi, Upgraded our remaining C2's to the last firmware ever made for those switches: 05.02.18.0002 This was in order to fix the bug where putty would kill the session if too much data scrolled by (e.g. show config)
Well it fixed that bug but now when I authenticate via RADIUS, every time, authentication fails on the first attempt and succeeds on the second. The RADIUS server shows successful authentication both times - identical events and no indication of any failures. I know the C2's are end of life and therefore no longer supported, but wondered if, short of turning RADIUS off or downgrading the firmware (which is an option), if there's any other way to solve. *login as: nallen* *[email protected] <[email protected]>'s password:* *Login of nallen failed* *Username:nallen* *Password:********** *Enterasys SecureStack C2* *Command Line Interface* *Enterasys Networks, Inc.* *50 Minuteman Rd.* *Andover, MA 01810-1008 U.S.A.* *Phone: +1 978 684 1000* *E-mail: [email protected] <[email protected]>* *WWW: http://www.enterasys.com <http://www.enterasys.com>* *(c) Copyright Enterasys Networks, Inc. 2011* *Chassis Serial Number: 05371963900K* *Chassis Firmware Revision: 05.02.18.0002* Cheers, Nick. -- This e-mail is intended only for the named person or entity to which it is addressed and contains valuable business information that is privileged, confidential and/or otherwise protected from disclosure.
