60 days seems far to aggressive to me. Doesn't "resetting" your profile
remove extensions and revert most settings, saving only bookmarks? I
wouldn't want to do that ever 60 days (maybe this has changed though)...

A possibility to reset the profile existed since version 13.
It became a problem in version 29 when Mozilla added a function to check
the age of the profile, and offer to do the reset if the profile is
older than 60 days.
They didn't expect that some use cases involve freezing or automatically
restore a configuration on each reboot. In this case the question is
asked every time.
