Hello I am trying to put a Default Search Engine with firefox.cfg with the line:
defaultPref("browser.search.defaultenginename", "StartPage - Deutsch");
the preference is in about:config but the search engine dont change. i
try it, with lockPref but is the same.
browser.search.defaultenginename;StarPage - Deutsch i try with google, yahoo, etc. and nothing run.If a i change it with clickclick it is OK, it is posible, but i need to automate.
I am working with FF45.3 ESR and MacOS X.11.6 It is another way to change the Default Browser? Thanks Carlos
