David!

I have the list sorted by the "Sent" column in descending order, i.e., the
most recent messages at the top. This only happens when I delete a message
from the list *without* opening it; like many folks I get lots of mails that
I choose not to read after scanning the subject line in the list.

I'm experiencing this running Mac OS 9.0.4 on two CPUs, a G3 B&W and a
PowerBook G3 (Bronze).

I've tried sorting both the "Sent" and "Received" column viewing either one
or the other or both together and the behaviour remains consistent with
Entourage automatically selecting up the list instead of down.

Thanks-a-Million/
Peter.
