I have found a major bug in the way repeating tasks are sync'ed to the Palm in
Entourage.
Do the following:
1. Create a new Task "Test" in Entourage. Make it reoccur one day after it is
completed.
2. Sync the Palm with Entourage.
3. On the Palm (NOT in Entourage), mark the task as completed.
4. Sync the Palm again.
At this point, the task is marked as completed in Entourage and the next
occurrence is
created. However, the next occurrence is NOT sync'ed to the Palm.
5. Sync the Palm again.
The task is STILL not sync'ed to the Palm.
6. Edit the new occurrence of the task (add a space to the name and then
delete it, for
example) and save it.
7. Sync the Palm one more time...
THIS time, the task is FINALLY sync'ed.
This happens regardless of whether the "Remove completed items from Handheld."
is
checked or un-checked. Also, this problem doesn't occur if the ToDo is marked
completed
in Entourage, rather than on the Palm.
This is one bug that definitely needs fixing, as it makes repeating tasks
practically
useless unless you mark them completed in Entourage.
