Hmmmm,

I did everything Jim said, except re-importing. Interestingly, the Entourage
main window now says "Entourage � John Santora" rather than just
"Entourage", so there is some hidden info about default users renamed inside
or outside Entourage. But my problem still remains. Everything but the
Calendar/DateBook works fine, and I get a HotSync disconnect (not a crash)
just as it starts reading the Entourage information in the Calendar (it
seems to read the Palm info okay), and the Palm then says "lost the
connection." 

At this point I have a blank calendar in the Palm (I have a Palm Buddy
backup) but even that doesn't seem to help.

I'll keep listening...
