After a little playing around, it looks like Entourage is doing pretty much
what it should be with folders and the hierarchy separator. Outlook Express
5.02 is definitely ignoring the character and assuming "/"; I watched it
improperly CREATE a mailbox called "MainFolder/Subfolder" on our EIMS
server, which uses ":". Entourage did it right, and also seems to handle
folders and subfolders created in Eudora.
Hope you can track down your iMail problem - it still could be something
similar if, as you say, it doesn't properly do hierarchical mailboxes.
