I think we need a way to disable this keyboard shortcut! I almost lost 100
contacts this way. I got caught by an interaction with SpellCatcher, trying
to "correct" my typing of a name by upcasing it. It sends some "Delete"
keystrokes to remove the "misspelled" word, and that triggered the Delete
dialog because I'd typed the name followed by Tab...as I detailed in another
message earlier today about bugs/conflicts.
