Actually, the Balloon Help description is still not as accurate as the popup
in Outlook Express was. It just says "Saves the message to the Drafts
folder until you choose to send it". I WISH that's all it did. It also
closes the window.

I tried out the Data Merge Manager, and it seemed to actually work (It's
under the Tools menu in Word, by the way). It creates the messages one at a
time and puts them in your Entourage Outbox.
But I had a tough time just getting it to select the few records I wanted to
use. It doesn't seem to be aware of Address Book's Categories, which would
seem to be a good way to select who you want to email to (for instance, send
an email to everyone in your Entourage Pals category). The order of the
records seems to be based alphabetically by First Name, which is kind of
confusing at first.
Overall I was disappointed to find that just a handful of the fields are
available for Merging. I can include a client's Mobile Phone number,
Department, or Suffix (!?) but not the Date he signed up, or any of the
Custom 1-8 fields? I suppose I could put his Web site into the Fax Number
field, username in the Title field, and password in the Job_Title field, but
then I'd be forever having to remember which field had which data. Too bad
we can't even rename the fields that it does give us... Why didn't they
just give us all the available Address Book fields? They're in there, and
there should be a way to access them.
Ah well, at least there's a way to do it. It just wasn�t the total solution
