3001: I missed that one. Thanks for the article ref. It's just common sense
that it will take a long time, that you must be laying the groundwork now,
and that until X is final you can't waste time on details which will be
undone by changes still to come in the OS.
I have been dipping into Visual Basic fro Word recently, It makes me realize
how incredibly complex Word and Excel are: there must be millions and
millions of separate functions. And that's just for the user: at the
programming level that must be exponential. I'm glad that Apple is spending
so much time on making the Classic environment safe, available and
accessible in OS X, because I'm sure we'll all be using that for many of our
most necessary - and complex - applications for some time yet.
