Frequent crashes, Entourage and IE5

Since installing Office 2001 the other day, I've had a huge problem with
crashes, several times a day.  This occurs within Entourage (which crashed
when I woke my PowerBook up from sleep an hour ago), and in IE (which
crashed on opening when I clicked a link in Entourage).

Rebuilt the Desktop, about to run Norton.  Any ideas on what else I can do
to improve stability?  Running on a Wallstreet II PowerBook (266/192M
RAM/18G HD).
