To follow my own message:
It seems to my feeble logic that what this actually gets you is a bubble.
"Date <Is less than> ? days from today" is not *past* only but anything that
is within ? days of today, in either direction. Isn't that right?
In short, I can't see *any* way to get just ? days in the past or ? days in
the future. No?
