I believe that you can open the message file in BBedit. There was some talk
on the list a while ago about how to identify the start of each message.
While it is likely that you will have to create a new set of files and start
fresh, you should be able to keep the message contents stored in text files.
Check the archives to find the info on extracting messages from the text
files.
