I have also had this problem and posted it here a couple of weeks ago. So
far I've found no solution. It seemed to work before, but somehow in the
last month something changed. I'm using Mac OS 9.1 and a Palm IIIxe with
Palm OS software v. 3.5.0.
I have found that sometimes I am able to create a multiple day event on the
Palm which will show up as a banner in Entourage, but not always. I can no
longer create a banner in Entourage and have it show up as anything other
than on the first day on the Palm. If I try to modify that event on the
Palm to make it repeating, it creates multiple banners in Entourage starting
on successive days. The information is evidently (maybe?) somehow embedded
in what is going from Entourage to the Palm but it is not showing up on the
Palm.
This is clearly a bug, and a serious one.
