You need to have the Japanese Language Kit installed (available for free on OS 9 installers) and you have to register Entourage as a Japanese application (using the "language register" app). After doing this and launching Entourage, you should see checkboxes for adding the lucky days in the Calendar preference panels. Note that you get the English transliterations, not the Japanese characters.I’m trying to understand how to store Japanese characters in the contact fields. I recall Dan Crevier talking about the “Is Japanese Contact” field, but I’m not sure how this works. In short, what do I need to do in order to get the most out of Entourage’s ability to store and display Japanese names, addresses, and other contact information? Do I need to register Entourage as a Japanese application in order to get to any fields that would otherwise be hidden?
Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer,
Justin
