I have "Sent" column showing normally. I just took your advice
(more-or-less!) and added Received, which came out with the correct time,
newly calculated. So I turned off Sent column, then opened it again, hoping
it would recalculate. But it didn't. All those messages have been "sent" 8
hours  later than they were received.

Any other ideas (aside from forcing the issue with an AppleScript to rewrite
the messages)?
