I just tried it and you are right -- changing the timezone does not cause
the sent column to update.  This leads me to believe that the "sent" time,
once calculated from the headers, is then stored in the database.  So... my
guess is a complex rebuild might cause a recalculation of the sent times.

I dunno - feel like trying it?
