It may be worth saying that David Pogue of Macworld wrote this at

"Repeating daily untimed events

As noted above, your handheld offers no banner feature that lets you
indicate that some event, such as a trip, lasts more than one day. Instead,
you must create an untimed event that repeats daily. When transferred to
Palm Desktop, however, such daily repeating events are intelligently and
automatically converted into multi-day banners."

This specifically refers to Palm desktop and not Entourage.

An interesting note, is that "sometimes" when I create multiple day
repeating events on the Palm they transfer to Entourage and show up as
multi-day banners. Sometimes they don't. When they don't turn into
multi-day banners they show up as separate repeating events that look like
one-day banners , i.e. a separate banner for each day.

Also, if I look at the month view on the Palm, on the days where I have
multiple day repeating events, it shows up on the Palm screen as a banner
(i.e. a line with a plus sign at each end. The plus sign on the left is on
the left side of the first day of the event. The plus sign on the right is
on the right side of the last day of the event.)

Everything was working properly prior to something that happened in the last
several weeks (maybe my upgrade to Mac OS 9.1?) but I'm not sure what change
may have actually been related to this problem. I am an upgrade junkie and
could have made several updates to software in one week. Prior to that, I
am quite sure that banners in Entourage showed up as untimed events on every
successive day of the event on the Palm. Also, I am quite sure that
multiple day events on the Palm translated into banners in Entourage.

I am quite convinced that this banner handling/translation functionality is
built into the Palm, the Entourage conduit and into Entourage itself but
there is some bug which now prevents it.... Or maybe I was dreaming that it
worked before,
