Since I wrote "Is this a joke?", just wanted to clarify that I meant it
sarcastically. I still use HyperCard EVERYDAY. I think it is wonderful,
and presaged the "web" before anyone even thought much about it.
I thought it was a funny question, given Apple's often cruel disregard for
some projects (HyperCard is so especially close to my heart that I tend to
anthropomorphize it...)
HyperCard is my pal. I don't want anything bad to happen to it.
Bill Atkinson rules!!
(I think FileMaker should buy it and turn it into a development component of
FileMaker Pro ... And even use it as a database viewer.)
And, although my HyperCard Plug-in for browsers never materialized, I think
THAT would go a long way in saving HC.
Okay...now I'm depressed. :-(
