Here, Entourage quits with a type 3 error immediately after trying to establish an SMTP connection. POP is fine, mail is retrieved correctly, but I really need to be able to send mail!

I tried both database rebuilding methods, along with increasing Entourage’s RAM allocation and deleting its prefs files. I reinstalled Office, its libraries in the Extensions folder, the whole thing.

I have no rules set up in Entourage, so they obviously can’t be corrupt.
