Carsten,

The Beatnik Stub is a plug-in for several different types of sound media.

The SVG plug-in is an Adobe plug-in for "scalable vector graphics", which is
an XML-based vector viewer. You can definitely lose that plug-in, as it
doesn't even support version 3.0+ browsers.

Here is a snip regarding SVG:

"SVG, in case you don't know, is an XML grammar that makes it possible to
put complex vector graphics (and animations) onscreen using simple
markup-language tags. The tags form a DOM-compliant hierarchy, controllable
via JavaScript. Using SVG, you get (in many ways) the best of HTML and PDF
together, in one web-ready package.

If you don't have Adobe's free SVG viewer plug-in for your browser, go to
the Adobe SVG plug-in download page. Adobe has free plug-ins for both MSIE
and Netscape, on Win and Mac platforms

Adobe states that '...the current implementation does not support version 3
browsers, and Internet Explorer support on the Mac is limited to static SVG
only.'"
