The scary thing is I may be responsible for that.
So far as I know, TCP/Connect II was the first email package to support
auto-fill. And it was my idea. ;-)
Not, by the by, that it was a stunningly innovative idea. I know that I saw
it somewhere else before deciding that I really wanted every text edit box
in TCPC2 to autofill.
As I recall, once we did it, just about everybody else added it in their
next release. And least I hope they've all added it by now. ;-)

PPS: Nostalgia caused me to go play with old software. tcpConnect4 had a
much faster web browser than Internet Explorer or Netscape...
