Without physical security, you've no security.

If they've got your RAM, while your computer is on and running (and thus
there's something in the RAM), you've got bigger problems.


Of course, with the new sleep modes that will flush RAM to and from disk so
as to instantly sleep and awake...well, there's some potential for mischief
there when a machine is stolen.

Alas, Apple really needs to solve that problem.  Not a third party.

PS: Did you know that it's possible to remotely eavesdrop on what most
people are typing?  So long as you've got the appropriate equipment.

PPS: It's even easier to capture the flux put out by your monitor and
reconstruct your screen.

PPPS: Both of the above seem about as likely as someone reading your RAM...

PPPPS: Apparently just about everybody has better secrets than me.  At least
judging by the lengths to which other people are apparently willing to go in
order to gain access to those secrets. ;-)
