I've acquaintances who are nowadays paid large sums of money to know such
things. And to think, we used to do it for free. ;-)

Actually, the keyboard and monitor tricks have been publicly admitted to by
the CIA, FBI, and NSA. So assumedly, they have a better technique now.

But I was amused when they built the new NRO building down the road. Even
the parking garage looks to have a Faraday cage built around most of it.
And the windows apparently include both light and sound attenuators *and*
are double-paned.

Not so amusingly, when they were building the NRO building, it was labeled
Rockwell or some other government contractor. And, since I drove past every
single day, I was quite impressed by the security measures that they looked
to be installing. I shared that impression with one of the aforementioned,
now highly compensated, friends. Imagine our surprise when we stopped by
the construction site late one night/early one morning and discovered just
how good their physical security was...

PS: As the Congressional Report mentioned, the facility 'has "signature"
heavy solid-metal crash-proof gates at the entrance, earth berms, high
chain-link fence and other such distinguishing features.'
