The various suggestions for interesting extensions and other capabilities
that can be added via Applescript and other third party utilities is often
interesting, and I may take advantage of some of them in the future.
In this case, however, the issue is a major deficiency regarding core
operation of the product. In such cases, I don't regard extensions, third
party software, or Applescripts as an appropriate solution. I paid good
money for the product, and expect commonly used capabilities and advertised
features to operate in a reasonable manner.
