A little while ago, Allen Watson created a fantastic script that created
daily journal entries in the Notes database of Entourage. I have been using
it since it's inception. I'm wondering if anyone has a script that functions
much the same way but instead creates a new (time stamped) journal entry as
an untimed events on the particular day?

I ask because I am also a devout user of DateBk4 on the Palm and that is how
it is designed to store it's daily journals... in the note of an untimed
event on the particular day. This seems to make sense opposed to a Entourage
Note that is not necessarily directly associated with the day. I think that
this would be easier to reflect on an particular day instead of checking two
different places (Calendar and Notes) for the activities of that day.

Is it a matter of an AppleScript that can create a templated untimed event
called "Daily Journal" that could be used as the desktop compliment? I can
type fast than I can graffiti so submitting journal entries on the desktop
would certainly be an asset. One could then also create a Custom View in
Entourage to show only events called "Daily Journal".

Any thoughts?
