Thanks for the follow-up, Paul and Allen. I was away from my desk all day
yesterday and missed the whole conversation.

Paul, an "Untimed Event" is just what Datebk4 calls an "All Day Event". They
get mapped to to one another. It is an event scheduled for that day but
doesn't have particularly time associated to it.

Allen, your modifications to your existing Journal script are perfect.
Exactly what was looking for. I didn't realise it would/could be handled so
similarly to your Journal to Notes script. I think that in the long run this
will make more sense to associate Journals on their days and then just use a
Custom View to filter out and show a list of all your Journals.

For any of you Datebk4 users out there... I also discovered that if I
modified this Journal AppleScript to also add the appropriate cryptic Datbk4
category code (looks something like ##@@A@@@@@@@@@@@@@@) into the new
journal's note then I can actually assign the category in Datebk4 when I
HotSync. This gives me some ideas as to how to use AppleScript to assign
categories in Entourage that will also Sync to Datebk4...

Thanks again for the help,

j.
