Yes. And check the font settings in your Entourage preferences. I forget
which one it is that determines the font of the contact name in the open
contact window, and unfortunately it's not immediately clear from the names
of settings in the preferences, but there aren't that many to change, so a
bit of experimentation should do the trick.
Oh, and in order to be able to bring up Japanese contacts by typing a few
letters of their name, what I do is use their romanized names in the
regular fields and put the kanji into the nickname field. Presumably you
could do it the other way around too. This is of course no more than a
workaround, but _carente meliore_, you might find it useful.
