You know, largely I've been silent on this whole issue, and against my
better judgment, I'm going to say this.

No matter what Apple does, people will hate it.  They will also love it.
The thing I don't under stand is how someone can want something "new" and at
the same time want it to be exactly the same.

My question to you is: what stability issues?  I've been using OS full time
for over a week.  No crashes, no kernel panics, nothing.  I've had some of
the BETA software (IE, OmniWeb) crash on me, but they just die, then I
resurrect them with a single click.  Exactly as advertised.

To me this same stuff happened with the released versions under OS 9 AND I
had to restart my machine.  Now I just relaunch the app.  Plus, I can
_telnet_ to my machine!  I have a bult-in FTP server.  All of this is what
I've wanted for years!

You know, I knew a guy once who's Honda stalled, so don't waste money on
them.  Come to think of it, my father's Toyota wouldn't start once - so
don't buy them either.  Oh, and my roommate's VW.....
