I see your point.

Still, it seems that the cmd-arrow keys would be much better utilized as
word/page jumps as default as opposed to keyboard layout changing (???).
I'd be interested in the ratio of people who change the kybd layout
frequently to the number of people who edit text with the word/page jump
functionality. 

(And yes, option is harder to hit than command!)

ps.  I'd like to see you try to return opened software to the store because
the keyboard shortcuts are misaligned with Apple's guidelines..
