This is trivial to handle. Instead of changing your main account, make a
second account labeled return receipt that is a duplicate of your main
account. Make the change to the duplicate account. Each time you send a
message, you can select the account you want to use when sending the message
in the message composition window. When you want to send a message with a
return receipt, just select the return receipt duplicate account.
