Right! I agree. Even after I "discovered" the Unsubscribe button, when I was
doing another experiment I "lost" it again. The intuitive thing to do, quite
obviously, is to select the group in question. One would expect, then, that
the Unsubscribe button would appear (even if Delete or Cmd-Delete does not
work, which I believe also that it should). It does not. Instead, as Rich
points out, you have to select the news server, then locate the newsgroup in
the listing of all groups (filters work acceptably fast for that), select
that, and finally, you can click the Unsubscribe button. Talk about
non-intuitive!
