This past week I began experimenting with Entourage and I noticed a strange
discovery. The time Entourage stamps on incoming e-mail appears to be wrong
sometimes. Has anyone experienced this? My Macintosh time and date control
panel is set correctly. I've chosen Atlanta since I'm located in the Eastern
Time Zone (US). And I have checked "set daylight saving time automatically."
Beginning yesterday, I noticed that mail sent from a friend who lives in the
same time zone has the incorrect time stamped on it when I open it in
Entourage. If I leave the e-mail on the server and open the same message in
Eudora, the recorded sent time is correct. (For example, yesterday Entourage
recorded an incoming message was sent at 11:15 a.m. But I read the message
at 10:30 a.m.--45 minutes before it was supposedly sent.) My friend says the
time and date control panel on his iMac is set correctly. I've also spotted
discrepancies in other e-mails. For example, the time Entourage records this
mailing list as being sent is different from the time given by Eudora.
Anyone else experience this strange phenomenon? Is this a possible bug in
Entourage as the program reads the Mac's time and date control panel? Thanks
for any input.

Similar experience.
(Sans Eudora.
Don't use it.)
