This very same conversation has been held (and at great length) on two or
three occasions, going way back to the earliest days of the Claris Emailer
List, and in every case it came down to the Date/Time CP being set
incorrectly.

The clue every time was that people were receiving their mail before it was
sent.  It's little things like that that can screw up your whole day.
