Well, since I'm developing software for Mac OS X, I rather prefer to run in
Mac OS X. ;-) And I'm sure, too, that that has nothing to do with the
hardware issue.

And, by the way, most of my Classic apps now work quite satisfactorily in
the Classic environment of Mac OS X. For a month now, I have been running
almost exclusively in Mac OS X (except when I have to do some low-level
thing that doesn't have a Mac OS X equivalent yet). For example, Entourage
works just fine in Mac OS X, as do Adobe GoLive for my web site development
and Quicken for my checkbook management. Now that the new freeware AirPort
Modem Utility 1.2 runs in Classic, I can even hang up my Base Station modem
from Mac OS X when I need the line to send a fax.
