I saw that TIL when it came out, and it doesn't apply to me. But Drive Setup
has now confirmed that I have a media problem, and it is described as
unrecoverable -- which I take to mean un-mappable-outable. I'll be on the
phone to Apple as soon as the sun comes up in California, and in order to
back up my data I'll be ordering a nice, big, fast external FireWire drive
today, too (I need lots of disk space, anyway).
What a pain. It took me about three weeks to set up this 60-Gig drive the
way I want it. Now I'll have to do it all over again.
