Title: Re: Web Browser in OS X
These preferences are actually set by the classic Internet control panel. The OS 9 Internet control panel can’t see any OS X applications (they look like folders, not applications, to it). So it won’t offer you that choice. Because IE X has the same creator code as IE Classic, and because the system will always scan running applications first before checking for unopened application files, opening IE X first will work to get it to open links. But there’s no way that Classic can see OmniWeb (short of OmniWeb coming up with a Classic version!).

Roger,

Hopefully someone will prove me wrong but I think the only way is to have explorer (OS X) open before you click on a link in Entourage.  Otherwise it opens the classic version.

Hope this helps!
