I have one client for whom this has happened. She has an iMac. Many people
around here cautiously unplug their computers during storms or while they
are away. I cannot in good conscience advise them against this, because we
have a high incidence of lightning damage here. Still, I had not seen such
a pattern among my clients (I don't doubt you, 'though), and I myself use a
PowerBook, so there is always a power source from the main battery.

Has anyone else seen more rapid discharging of PRAM batteries in newer Macs?
