Really?  I got rather a different impression from Barry's message:

That didn't sound like a rebuild was all he did, and his implication was
that it was a problem even with a full backup (which I have via a network
tape system).

If it's really as easy as doing a full rebuild, then I might take Allen's
comment and yours as reason enough to try using Entourage for my calendaring
needs.
