Run an Ethernet crossover cable (inexpensive from your local computer or
electronics store) between the iMac and the G4 and use File Sharing to
transfer the files. If you're not familiar with how to setup file sharing,
open the file sharing control panel and click on the little gray question
mark in the upper right hand corner to open the step-by-step tutorial.
You'll have your own little network setup and be able to share and move
files between computers in 10-20 minutes, depending on whether you've done
this before or not.
