No, I did not complete a full rebuild. The rebuild failed with an EOF error message, just as the launch did. I got the error right away. I just did all of these things, in OS 9. I threw out the pref files and gave Entourage 100 MB of memory. Exact same series of events as the first time. Upon running the program, I get: An error occurred while launching. The end of the file was reached. When I hold down the option key and start with a typical rebuild, this dialogue pops up the instant I hit the button to confirm: Compacting failed. The end of the file was reached. Then the same for the full rebuild. I see this right away: Rebuilding failed. The end of the file was reached. Then I ran Diskwarrior on the volume and tried the whole process again. Same deal. When I remove the Messages and Database files, the Entourage launch completes (with both new and old pref files). -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To search the archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
