The mailing list manager was designed specifically for lists like this where the list address is in the To line. It wasn't designed for marketing-type mailings where your are individually sent a message from the list. The easiest way to manage the latter is to create a rule of From is <address>; or create a contact for that From address and use the auto categorize messages option to categorize the list messages.
